Introduction to the Fiat Page

This resource was designed by, and for Fiat/Lancia enthusiasts. Our intention is to share the bulk of our collected knowledge in printed form, and use this medium to present the information in an organized, attractive fashion.

We will not always succeed in our goal of easy information retrieval- Fiat tended to use their parts bin when producing these cars, and the part numbers superceded regularly for a while... Lots of information applies to more than one model, year... This makes indexing, and isolating bits of information difficult, but we've done what we can.

My advice is to use the information presented here in conjunction with the help of your local Ricambi dealer- They have the latest parts books, just like we do, and also the service knowledge that will help you overcome your barriers in the search for a happy Fiat, on the road and looking as it should.

The authors:

Eli Caul worked at Wine Country Motors (Napa, CA) for many years, a shop that has its origins in the Napa Valley Motors Fiat franchise. The owner of Wine Country (Kelly Dicker) is a very well versed Fiat Tech, having worked with them since they were new. Your humble author picks his brain whenever possible. Usually, I ask him questions related to keeping my fleet on the road, but I collate all he tells me, or writes down in the fabulous Parts Book.

Currently, I work at Sonoma Interconnect, as the Customer Support Manager.
Also, I administer this server, and develop new concepts and articles in conjunction with our many friends. I use a P75 Linux machine running X Windows (click here for a glimpse of my Desktop) for most administration tasks, but I also run NT 4.0 when I need to use applications like Adobe Photoshop.

I drive, and own: '78 128 Rally Sedan, '78 131 Sedan, '80 124 Spider

David Voss has a long history of self-taught Fiat expertise, centered around the 131/Brava series, and 128 ownership- His forte' is suspension/handling, and the papers you see here on those subjects are undoubtedly his. David's tires track straight, and achieve prodigious grip- Pay attention to his articles on handling- They will make you a happier weekend warrior.

Thank you for visiting the Fiat Page. It's taken a lot of concerted effort on our part (and this page will never be truly 'done'), but it's been worth it- This information is important, and we enjoy the process of making it available via WWW.
