brake MC plumbing

Post by miker » Tue Jun 11, 2019 8:48 pm

On the stock MC, there are two outlets in the rear section of the MC, one for each front caliper, and one outlet in the front section, for the rear brakes.

For the MC I have now (22.2mm), there is one outlet in the rear section of the MC, and two outlets in the front. Naturally, I hooked the two front lines to the front section of the 22.2mm MC, and the rear brakes to the rear outlet.

I wonder why they are different, the 22.2mm one is sold as having been used on Volumex Spiders but also it was used on Ritmo.

And it should not matter which section gets used on which end of the car, right?

You may want to contact the vendor you got it from and check what the proper routing on that car was.
Just a thought...
