Car Week in Monterey 2019

Post by San Jose Steve » Fri Aug 02, 2019 12:43 pm

Just curious who (If anyone...) is going to be in Monterey in 2 weeks for the big bash. (The Concorso Italiano in particular.) I used to go just that 1 event but 15 year on, I now take Wed-Th-Fri off to see more of it. The traffic between the different events can be a bit nutty but after dinner it all calms down. Strolling outside (cocktail in hand) through the line of cars going into the Russo auction, my wife and I guess what each one will sell for. We always laugh when someone pays 3x our estimate when the gavel falls. Our local Fiat America club has some fun drives through Carmel Valley and along the ocean as well. Anyone going...? -Steve

I happened to run into Ken Haven just a few days ago, and he mentioned this event. I used to live down the street a few doors from Ken, and we discussed Fiats in general a couple times in the past when we were neighbors. Anyway, I'll have to take a close look at my schedule, but I'm definitely mulling it over.
