Joe-

I have a stash of original Fiat oil filters. The boxes show some shelf wear, but the filters are clean and undamaged, blue with the Fiat P/Ns and logos. I don't put them on my car, and I've wondered why I even bought them years ago. Well, I know now, to help adorn projects where they will be an object of appreciation.

PM me your address, and I'll send you one, gratis, because your project is so cool.

For your daily needs, stock up before these are gone: https://autoplicity.com/2305026-fram-oil-filter-12case

On my (not even close to a race) car, driven less than 3000 miles between oil/filter changes, I bought a case of Purolator L10101 years ago on Ebay, cheap, which at the time were indicated for Fiats. But they are short. The larger, similar spec'd L20020 is available and listed for Fiats.

Having worked in and around the mining industry for the past 30+ years, the WIX brand filters have proven themselves as a very high quality filter. I won't use any other brand of filter on my vehicles and other equipment. Wix 51189 or the NAPA 1189 Gold (which is made and rebranded by Wix). They're getting more and more pricey, but darn worth it in my book.

Joe, NGK 8-9 for sure, i wouldn't use anything else. Oil filter, i second the recommendation for the Purolator, both street and race car. I currently run a remote setup now on the race car, no room for the large filter anymore ( will have to check brank P#) . 6qts in the dual wing trap door sump and 2qts in the acusump. VR1 20-50 racing oil.

Thanks everyone …. about the Savarra oil filters.... close to 20 years ago, myself and 2 Fiat associate "liberated" an mother load of NOS Fiat Ricambi originale … well we went $300 each for a total 900 USD …. well let me tell you what … dozens and dozens of NOS oil filters, fuel filters, ….and probable 20 -30 K wort of parts in year 2000 $ money.... …. we divided up the choices bits for personal use and sold the rest … … After awhile the other two lost interest in selling parts … well I made the most out of it … you can look back to Mira "For Sale" archive and see what we were sell and for how much …. look for FPLF … Fiat Parts Liberation Front...…...lol well the last oil filter went on the 124 last month … going to take you up on the offer … mille grazzie
