New Orleans. Had a long history of ownership, at one point it was highly restored:

The ad is comedic and oversells the hell out of the car. Sometime shortly after this it went into a period of neglect; though very little rust. The paint is scuffed from four years under a car cover, and the interior center and radio consoles are junk. It has some P.O. grade wiring "extras" and a fan modification that drives me nuts. Right now its on stands as it needs all four brake calipers rebuilt, I replaced the MC earlier this week. FI system needs a good testing and it needs all new hoses. The cheap stainless wrap on the hoses has already met the dumpster.

The car had a lot - like probably a hundred feet - of that cheap plastic wire wrap stuff.

All that braiding and wire housing is funny under the hood. Extra wood on the lower console ? Does it still have all that stuff going on with the dash? The wide chrome trim rings and the custom wood? Looks and sounds like it will clean up very nicely .

I like the small wood plug in the dash that fills the hole where the odometer zero set knob is supposed to be.

--Carl, is that a wood plug, or just a wood "cap" to match the wood cap on the glove box opener...?

--As Brad noted, the seller does over-sell just a little: "Milage: 97,250" ...and "Engine: V8" !! I thought, wow, a V8! Likely, just a typo?

--But, no question about it, overall, a really nice car!
