Yes, I remember talking about those...maybe x-ref’d with an older Toyota truck and a Nissan Pulsar?

The holes below the taillights - I’m trying to remember what they’re for originally....?

They're for mounting the small rear reflector units; each one is a rectangular chromed-plastic housing with a red reflector lens in the center.

Nice thing about working on wagons is they are their own storage unit for parts and tools.

Andy, I just got around to looking through your build pics. Great to see a wagon getting some real love! The powertrain will make for a fun ride, no question. And good choice on back-dating to earlier bumpers and side markers. Looks like you're keeping the roof rack? My '68 has a smooth roof, which I like for the, er, "sportwagon" look but a rack would have probably saved the headliner a few injustices in its lifetime.

Thanks Courtney. Yes, I’m keeping the roof rack, Csaba had a piece to replace a broken leg on it, some wire wool and it will have a decent patina.

Started looking at the inside of the trunk today, just surface rust, easy enough to clean up - and then paint!

Also found a rather nice reverse light to go with the chrome bumpers. If anyone has a matching foglight - let me know!

You are doing the Kawasaki motorcycle engine conversion, right?

Hope you have all the interior panels for the load area, that was the biggest headache for my 128 wagon build.
