Coolant pipe

Post by bnam2 » Wed Dec 26, 2018 9:39 pm

I need the coolant pipe that runs back from the waterpump along the block and the inlet nipple for the coolant from heater into the head.

Freshly painted …. 20 or so years ago ...lol can't remember what the little nipple thing does, that has been apparently plugged ? It's your if you want it.... as for the part in the head, do you mean were I located my petcock ? What's there now, a pipe plug ? Should be plumbing supply /hardware kind of thing .?

The nipple on your heater hose return pipe was there for those models with a coolant operated carburetor choke.

The nipple on your heater hose return pipe was there for those models with a coolant operated carburetor choke.
The nipple was also used on Fuel Injected engines as the hot water return for the heater on top of the throttle body.

I have a new one from a vendor. It doesn't have the nipple. LMK if you want it. b-

Yes, I still have it. Mine does NOT have the nipple that send hot water to the FI thermal block on the intake plenum. b-
