Good shape, ready to install. Flange is surface flat, no cracks.
Down pipe is a perfect slip fit with barrel clamp.
This set up runs down the center, alongside transmission.

I've seen a few of these for sale after being used a short while. I wonder what the reason is?

They get hot, that’s for sure. But all headers get hot...

Had to relocate my O2 sensor, which was only a minor issue. I say had to because after installing the header my wide band sensor put up the error of death. Since relocating it I’ve had no problems.

Just to be safe I built a heat shield for my coils and other bits along the passenger side of the engine bay.

Upgraded to an aluminum coolant overflow tank, again just to be safe.

The air intake routes directly over the header, which probably warms in incoming air a bit. I really cannot see how it wouldn’t. So I’ve wrapped it in heat reflective material and drilled a hole so at least I’m starting with the coolest air possible. I have data on this and it is quite interesting. Even with a direct and constant source of outside air my air temperature readings are still around 110f on cold winter days.

The stock afm sits dangerously close to the header, and gets hot. This was never an issue (that I’m aware of) but it was something I monitored closely while I had the stock setup.

Otherwise no issues with mine.

I’ve tried two different headers but didn’t dyno the car with the other one so I don’t have any data to share.
