Proper orientation of upper A-arm?

I know the upper A arm on a spider can be installed backwards but I don't know the proper orientation. I don't trust any work that may have been previously done on my 75 spider.

The upper arms have one side slanted more than the other, which is the proper orientation?

Carl, the curved side towards the front of the car.

I'm sure someone on this forum can come up with a good picture, but in the meantime, the upper A-arm is installed so that the "lip" (where the pieces are stamped/welded together) is facing upward, and the overall arm is swept backwards towards the rear. Not the greatest description on my part; sorry!
