Anyone know of a source for new replacement bezels? Not the "chrome" ones but rather the original style. Thanks, -Steve

The gauges undergoing final cleaning. The trim rings from AR are beautiful, stainless steel. They won't corrode like the old chrome-over-steel ones. I had to trim the gauge barrel and the metal interior trim ring.

Differences between these and later gauges:

Simple lettering (no km/h gauge, no 55 circle, etc)
All metal gauge body and interior glare ring
No angle to the gauge
103mm OD vs. 101mm for the later gauges
Rubber gasket inside the trim ring, even on the small gauges

Dang.....those look good. Are they fit over the original rings or do they replace the original rings entirely? I've seen some stainless steel medical device parts that were anodized to a color. I bet these SS trim rings also could be colored black or "plum" the same way. -Steve

These are replacements. The entire unit needed to be cleaned up, which necessitates the removal of the original ring. As these early ones are all metal the interior ring was slightly rusted and sun faded.
