Turn the auxillary pulley bolt with electric drill clockwise and you will see oil coming from hole in the valve area.
Be shure the engine clear the auxillary pulley before using the drill.

I don't see the need for timing marks on the pulley. For timing my cams i have to find the lobe center of the cam and be shure that the crank was at 110 degrees. you need a dial indicator and a degree Wheel for that job. What about cutting the panhard right in the middle to remove 1 inche. Then made a steel bushing as long as possible to fit inside of the tube. I would suspect the actual damage occurred when you initially ran out of fuel, as the engine temp was very high and suddenly the mixture was lean and super hot The ceramic coating will prevent the meltdown and Mark gasket is much stronger. I blew a couples before installing Mark gasket and ARP stud...

You should use the steel head gasket from Allisson Automotive and have your piston ceramic coating in Terrebonne near Tremblant. Mr Performance.
