In finality, The curved washers were assembled incorrectly ))(( )) no flat washer. I gave up on them and bought 2 rear calipers that are rebuilt, refurbished. Once I have the new ones off I will take them apart and find out what the probllem is with my new found information. Thanks for all the repli...

I pulled the new caliper off the drivers side. Acuated the e brake lever by hand, no action on the piston, Has to be assembled incorrectly. Not right

Right? It should be that easy, Had them working as they should, In first they held, But only once. That is why
i am thinking it is the calipers. They should hold and release.

I could try that 2081, The service manual says two or three clicks on the ratchet, Then tighten the pull on the cabl. I am at odds here, Next thing i will try if possible is to pull both levers on the caliper up secure them (c-clamp) then tighten the cable. Maybe this will help center the torsion on...

I took the old caliper and cleaned it out, the square o-ring was dry, removed it. Screwed the piston back in and obseved the action when the lever is operated. The old caliper works the same as the new one., but there seems to be a longer throw than the new one. I have a new extra caliper so i am wo...
