I refer to my previous comments on the two prior threads ;) and add an additional one. This only really makes sense in my mind with extra weight in the rear to compensate for the enhance front end dip.

Oh go on... fit it! Doesn't take that long, stiffens up the body considerably, and I can show you some structural rated fixings for the lower attachments.

The tabs are at an angle, so the long arms only fit correctly one way around.... which means one is up and one is down on the two arms.

That said - this might all be hoodwinking by our vendors who've only got a single part produced :)

I'd have thought it unusual for a single spring to age significantly ahead of it's siblings? Check the bushings, and look for one that might have failed - would tie in with jarring over uneven ground.

Over the years there have been a few different types of long arms, with different "tabs" to assist the routing of the e-brake cable. Not just the 1.5" rectangular tabs, but also a round tab with two "arms" that holds the rubber fitting on the cable. Looking in the manual you get the image below... c...

I'm wondering around the release bearing.... either way - I'd probably be getting intimate with the insides of the bellhousing about now. Time to drop the transmission.
