If you mean the double chrome tube with heavy rubber style, '75 model year cars were first year. Early euro style may have had just the blades. Looking for an early style seatbelt buckle end. Should be pretty decent shape, metal with soft belt not plastic. Nice! Glad it worked out. Seems like mostly minor stuff tho, except the repainted panels. That could indicate adjusting the price… Good luck with the purchase.

It's a Jaguar, so I would recommend having a local mechanic who specializes in the marque inspecting it. I also recommend finding a well kept 95-97 example as it is much easier to work around the sturdy straight six than the sometimes problematic V8. Mechanic inspection can also give you a heads up ...

Maybe bent clutch fingers or something there. How is your tranny mount? Oil soaked and soft?
Also is there a ground strap from bellhousing to body present?
